About PoriES

Pori Entrepreneurship Society supports people from the Satakunta region in networking, learning, developing business thinking, and realizing ideas into ventures.

About the Association

Founded in 2020, the association is operated on a voluntary basis, and through forming strategic partnerships with other businesses and organizations within Finland and abroad.

Our goal is sustainable growth, building meaningful networks, promoting lifelong learning, and the continuous improvement of the Satakunta region as an environment of possibilities and cooperation.

We are open to everyone, but most of our live services are for Satakuntalaiset — locals and internationals, to whom we provide a safe environment to gain, test and share skills and ideas.

Our communication language is English, but we are able to provide guidance also in Finnish, Russian, Bulgarian, Hindi, Sinhala, Arabic and others — due to our multicultural and multilingual community.

A new chapter began in 2025 when IGDA Satakunta joined forces with PoriES. Following a mutual agreement between PoriES and IGDA Finland, the hub now operates under the PoriES umbrella. This partnership streamlines support for local developers and founders, ensuring that Satakunta's gaming scene has the strongest possible foundation for growth.
